The cruise line prohibits smoking and e-cigarettes in cabins, on private balconies, and throughout indoor public areas, restricting usage to designated open-deck zones.

Where Smoking and Vaping Are Prohibited Onboard

Passengers often assume private balconies are safe for smoking or vaping. However, P&O Cruises bans both traditional cigarettes and electronic cigarettes – including non-vapor devices – on cabin balconies. Highly sensitive cabin smoke detectors monitor these areas around the clock to mitigate fire risks at sea.

To accommodate smokers, the cruise line provides signposted designated smoking areas on the open deck. These locations can change based on weather conditions and cleaning schedules. Guests must use the provided ashtrays and ensure all materials are fully extinguished.

Read more: Can You Vape on a Cruise Ship? Passengers caught smoking inside their staterooms face steep cleaning fees charged directly to their onboard accounts to cover the cost of removing smoke residue.

According to the P&O Cruises Code of Conduct, serious or disruptive behavior can lead to the immediate termination of a passenger’s holiday. If removed from the ship, the traveler or their entire party must arrange and pay for their own return travel.

To avoid security confrontations or unexpected expenses, passengers should check the ship’s daily newsletter or consult guest services upon boarding to confirm permitted smoking zones.

Passagerer risikerer at få deres ferie afbrudt og betale høje rengøringsgebyrer, hvis de ryger eller damper uden for de angivne områder.

[168,167
2180
post-56951","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-nyheder","category-guides","tag-vape-a-cestovani
["GET
