The Italian Customs and Monopolies Agency (ADM) has ordered the blocking of 15 online storefronts for unauthorized sales of inhalation liquids and state monopoly products. This latest regulatory action raises the total number of blocked domains in Italy to 934. The newly cited vendors have until April 5 to adjust their inventory and remove restricted items from private access.
The enforcement follows a legal precedent established by the Court of Turin, which strictly limits how vaping products are marketed. Under this mandate, retailers cannot run commercial promotions, offer discounts, or use marketing slogans to attract consumer attention. In-store posters and print flyers are also prohibited.
Online sellers may only list factual technical specifications and basic flavor descriptions. Adding subjective phrases or promotional language is treated as an infraction that triggers immediate site-blocking proceedings by state authorities.
